He established himself as the expert of all things VA in his community of Kerrville and built a working relationship with VA Raters to expedite claims, serving over 1,200 veterans, surviving spouses, and eligible family members. All this plus error free claims filing earned TVC Claims Benefits Advisor and Marine Corps veteran Ryan Halley a TVC Excellence Award.
Halley, pictured with his award, achieved this in just the first six months of 2023.
“His keen attention to detail has resulted in no claim errors. His exceptional customer service skills coupled with an in-depth knowledge of federal regulations have resulted in thousands upon thousands of tax-free dollars being awarded to his clients and ultimately his community,” said TVC Claims Department Southwest District Manager and Army veteran Mike Jaeger. “Ryan’s ability to work together with VA Raters allowed him to coordinate and settle the majority of his hearings beforehand or negotiate new exams.”
His work with VA staff has resulted in veterans keeping their present rating or getting an increased ratings based on new exams.
“His tenacious attitude and overall devotion to duty have saved numerous veterans from potential benefit reductions,” added Jaeger. “Ryan also successfully represented five veterans at their predetermination hearings which required exhaustive research and coordination.”
Those who Ryan has served have expressed their appreciation for him in the TVC Claims processing system.
“Ryan is the best Service Officer in my 27 years in the VA system, thank you Ryan for your help,” commented one veteran.
“Ryan is very knowledgeable and resourceful when explaining the processes associated with my circumstances. He is extremely professional and sincere in his efforts to help me with my claims,” said another.
“Ryan was absolutely amazing! He went above & beyond to help my dad. He was so patient listening to the same stories over & over! Ryan knows exactly what he is doing & so good at it! We had 1 hour & he got it all done! AMAZING!! So Grateful!! Thank you!” noted a veteran family member.
