Veterans Education’s Charles “Chuck” Bryant earns Excellence Award from state Collegiate Veteran Program Officials

In April, The Texas Association of Collegiate Veteran Program Officials (TACVPO) presented its 2022 Excellence Award to Charles “Chuck” Bryant, Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Veterans Education Operations Manager and Army veteran, pictured.

Entrepreneur Kevin Barber reappointed to Texas Veterans Commission by Governor Abbott

Governor Greg Abbott reappointed Kevin Barber to the Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) for a term set to expire on December 31, 2027.

Ukrainian entrepreneurs meet with Texas veteran business owners

Ukrainian entrepreneurs visited Austin in late March to learn from Texas business owners about their business practices, leadership skills and networking. Their visit was coordinated by American Councils for International Education and Ukrainian Business Leaders – Promoting Innovation and Entrepreneurship (UBL-PIE) at an event hosted by U.T. Austin.
