Lost benefits secured with retro payment of $553,085

In September, a veteran in El Paso was awarded a retro payment over $553,085 with the help of Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Claims Benefits Advisor and Army veteran Roberto Macias.

The veteran served as a Weapons-Technician in the Navy during his service of at least two tours in Vietnam (RVN area) and earned the RVN Gallantry Cross.

Tops in entrepreneurs , Texas lands PenFed pitch competition

Texas cities scored among the best for veteran entrepreneurs by the PenFed Foundation. In the top 20 were the metro areas of Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Austin. The McAllen-Edinburg-Mission area was recognized as the Largest Riser and it ranked 26th. San Antonio was ranked 25th.
