The Fund for Veterans’ Assistance accepted applications for 2023-24 grant funding from Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 until Monday, December 5th, 2022.
Eligible Grantees had the opportunity to present their grant project to the Fund for Veterans’ Assistance Advisory Committee on March 1st or 2nd, 2023.

Awarded programs address the critical needs of Texas veterans and their families who demonstrate financial need with grant funding.
Awarded programs modify beneficiary-owned housing for accessibility, critical repairs, and/or weatherization purposes with grant funding.
Awarded programs provide counseling and treatment to veterans and their families with grant funding.
Awarded courts provide rehabilitation for justice-involved veterans with grant funding.
Local government applications where the Veteran County Service Officer is listed as the Project Coordinator have a competitive advantage in the application selection process.

Every year, the Commission encourages eligible charitable organizations, local government agencies, and Veteran Service Organizations with veteran-specific programs and services to apply for grant funding. Funding opportunity details and organization eligibility criteria are published in the Request For Applications.
All applications must be timely submitted electronically through the TVC Grants Portal between October 5, 2022 @ 5pm Central Time and December 5 @ 5pm Central Time. No paper applications or other methods of submission will be considered for funding.
