Service Overview

I am proud of my 22 years of military service because I followed in the footsteps of my Vietnam veteran father. My family has a long history of military service all the way back to my great, great, great grandfather, who served as a Negro Confederate soldier during the Civil War. Additionally, my military service has enabled me to obtain undergraduate and graduate college degrees without incurring debt which had been a tremendous benefit.
