Donna Floyd

Service Overview

I’m proud of my service to my country. I traveled across the US at TDY Stations and Overseas in Pirmasens, Germany and tour in Paris, France. While stationed at Ft. Hood, TX, I was the first female Colonel driver in my unit (47th MEDSOM DEPOT, 1st Med Group Battalion 13th SupCom Brigade) and the first female SGT of the Color Guard. I wore my uniform proudly while serving despite the many challenges women had to face; during those difficult times of good and bad, a soldier never quits. I salute all the WAC’s (Women Army Corps) of the past, present, and future, Atta Girl, Hooah.
