The HKEC team would like to invite the MBA community to our Diversity & Inclusion in Entrepreneurship Summit: Veteran Founders. This event will feature a keynote by Joseph Kopser, Special Advisor for Military Leadership and Strategy Policy at UT Austin, as he explores his journey from veteran to founder. Following Joseph, a panel of veteran founders and innovators will discuss access to startup resources for veterans and how the combination of military experience and an entrepreneurial skillset produces unique opportunities.

On November 18th, the Herb Kelleher Entrepreneurship Center, the Master of Science in Technology Commercialization Program, and the Jon Brumley Texas Venture Labs will host Diversity and Inclusion in Entrepreneurship Summit :Veteran Founders.

This event will provide invaluable insights into the resources available to veterans interested in launching a business and show the ways in which the skill sets gained through entrepreneurship and military service can be applied to careers as founders or innovators within established firms.

At 5 p.m. a panel of veterans entrepreneurs and innovators will explore funding support resources for veterans interested in launching a business, ways veteran founders can navigate the larger entrepreneurial ecosystem, and how the veteran and entrepreneurial skill sets can be applied toward intrapreneurial roles.
