The Federal Prison Camp Bryan, Bryan, Texas is hosting a walk from 8:00 am – 8:00 pm at Veteran’s Park in College Station to honor and remember veterans who committed suicide after suffering difficulties associated with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) acquired during their service. This event is also in honor of Veteran’s Day. Our employees will walk the monument path for one hour each and be relieved by another employee during this event and the public is invited to join us or come out and walk on their own. A table will be set up with information from the VA.gov website for employees and civilians who are interested in VA benefits for Disabled Veterans or local vacancies and the hiring process within our agency. This information is free. A flag for Suicide Awareness and Prevention will be posted near the table to alert employees and the public where to begin their walk.
