SAMMinistries’ Veterans' Housing Stability Program serves literally homeless veterans (HUD definition). Clients are required to be entered into HMIS to be reimbursed for costs; the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) database is used to store client data and services for individuals experiencing homelessness. Homeless veteran support for eligible households is made directly to vendors to pay rent and utilities. Veterans will be the named person on rent agreements and utility bills.
