Veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), and Operation New Dawn (OND) are sought for participation in VA SERVE (Support & Education for Returning Veterans) workshops. Compensation for participating is provided.
An upcoming one-day workshop will be conducted by the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center & Baylor College of Medicine.
The goals of this program are:
- To better understand the experiences of returning Veterans
- To Improve services for returning Veterans
- To provide practical and innovative strategies to improve daily functioning
The workshops can be participated in remotely from the comfort of home or private area. Interested veterans can check their eligibility for workshop participation by calling Ken Woods, VA representative and US Army veteran, at 713-440-4612.
