Service Overview

I started out US Army, living in Erlangen, GY. My military job was a Combat Medic. After a short stint in the Army, I decided to get out and go into the TX Air National Guard, where my sister was also serving. In the TXANG, I started out as a Weather Observer, and then I cross-trained into the Personnel field. I was selected for a position at the National Guard Bureau in Alexandria, Va. After I left NGB, I returned to the great state of Texas to finish out my career. I retired in Aug 2017.

Highlights of my career: Being awarded the Combat Medic Medal (physically/mentally challenging); living in Germany and traveling; and I got to fly on a F16 (got sick as a dog).
