Tops in entrepreneurs , Texas lands PenFed pitch competition

Texas cities scored among the best for veteran entrepreneurs by the PenFed Foundation. In the top 20 were the metro areas of Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Austin. The McAllen-Edinburg-Mission area was recognized as the Largest Riser and it ranked 26th. San Antonio was ranked 25th. More Texas cities were included in the top 100, see Top Cities for Veteran Entrepreneurs. According to PenFed, Texas’s veteran owned business community is second largest in North America.

In recognition of Texas’s entrepreneur success and to further fuel it, the PenFed Foundation Veteran Entrepreneur Investment Program (VEIP) partnered with Texas veteran entrepreneur organizations to present panel discussions and pitch competitions. Held in the top ranked Texas cities, PenFed’s Texas Tour schedule is November 8, 2021 -Austin, November 9 – Houston, November 10 – Dallas. Event partners include Bunker Labs, the Texas Veterans Commission Veteran Entrepreneur Program and the Veteran Land Board.
