On Armed Forces Day, 21 May 2022, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6441at 401 Jacobs Well Road in Wimberley, Texas will be providing a free meal to all veterans and active duty members, and their families at the Post from 11 am til 2 pm. This meal will consist of brisket, sausage, chicken legs and sides. This is an annual event designed to recognize the service and sacrifice of military members and their families.

Join us as we reopen Veterans Point and connect with our local Veteran community! Free to service members, Veterans, and their family members. We have fun activities and bounce houses planned for the children. We will also provide lunch and have various organizations set up to provide information on local resources.

Lunch will be available at noon. Music and vendors, with additional activities for the day!
The traditional Veterans Day Ceremony will be held on Thursday, November 11 at 10 a.m. with acknowledgements and a distinguished keynote speaker recognizing our local heroes. The American Heroes Parade will begin at 11:30 A.M. at Dallas and Bagby, and proceeds east on Dallas, north on Louisiana, west on Walker, south on Smith, west on Lamar, ending on Lamar at Bagby.
The Veteran Entrepreneur Program is proud to present ‘The Value in Hiring Veterans’ during our July Success in 60 Minutes webinar. We will feature TVC employee, Lee Ware, who is a Veteran Employee Liason. The entire Veteran Entrepreneur Program team will also be available to answer any questions you may have in regards to being a Veteran Entrepreneur in the great state of Texas.
