Hone job hunting skills & connect with employers through Veteran Employment Services events

Job fair and career resources events hosted in May by Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) Veteran Employment Services (VES) West Texas District attracted over 1,300 attendees and “resulted in multiple application submissions and pending job interviews,” said Rodney Washington, TVC VES West Texas District Outreach Coordinator and Air Force veteran.

“My daughter obtained the information she needed regarding the hiring process (of the CBP) and has initiated it. The information shared by the resume presenter also really helped her get it together. Thank you so very much for your service to veterans and veterans families. These events are very much needed and appreciated!” said an event attendee.
