Spend a day with other veterans aboard the sailing vessel Athena in the calm waters of Galveston Bay. No sailing experience is required and you will learn the basics of sailing and boat handling under the supervision of experienced and licensed captains. American Odysseus Sailing Foundation is providing Veterans and First-Responders, living with Post Traumatic Stress, the opportunity to heal at sea using research based methods of learning to live with trauma through Adventure therapy (AT).
