Transportation Assistance allows veterans, dependents and surviving spouses to receive transportation services, free of charge, to and from their medical appointments, pharmacies, grocery stores and food pantries. When beneficiaries do not have mode of transport or are to ill, have the option to get food delivered to them. Services include transportation within a 200-mile radius that include San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Harlingen, & McAllen, TX to specialty clinic for medical appointments.
