Financial Assistance Services are provided by Harris County, a Unit of Local Government based in Houston, Texas 77003.
Program will provide emergency financial assistance to Harris County Veterans, surviving spouses and dependents who experienced a crisis within the past 90 days that prevented them from being able to pay their rent or utility bills. Vehicle repairs that prevent the client from traveling to their place of employment will be considered. Since many households seeking rental assistance are also in need of utility assistance, some Veteran households may receive both services.
