Earning top spots in the PenFed Foundation Veteran Entrepreneur Investment Program (VEIP) Veteran Entrepreneurs Texas Tour Pitch Competition were:

“The Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) was honored to partner with PENFED VEIP Foundation to celebrate the more than 100 Texas based veteran-owned companies who applied for the PENFED Pitch Competition,” said Christina Mortel, TVC Entrepreneur Program Business Consultant and Army veteran. “We congratulate the three winners of the Texas Top Cities Pitch Competition who will be competing for the Top Prize next month of $30,000.”
The pitch competition was produced by the PenFed Foundation Veteran Entrepreneur Investment Program (VEIP) in recognition of Texas’s entrepreneur success and to further fuel it. PenFed VEIP partnered with Bunker Labs, Texas Veteran Commission, Veterans Land Board, and other organizations to present panel discussions and the pitch competitions in November 2021 at top Texas entrepreneur cities. PenFed scored Texas cities among the best for veteran entrepreneurs in its recent Top Cities for Entrepreneurs. According to PenFed, Texas’s veteran owned business community is second largest in North America.
