  • All Grantees: Monthly reimbursement request due in GovGrants
  • Grantees not meeting benchmarks*: Monthly progress report due in GovGrants

*All grantees are expected to spend 70% of their award funds and serve 70% of their veterans by the end of the third quarter grant period. Grantees not meeting benchmarks were notified of these compliance issues by hard copy letter in mid-February 2019.

Grant Management FAQ: What is a reimbursement grant?

All Requests for Application (RFAs) from the Fund for Veterans Assistance include a definition of reimbursement grant:

Reimbursement Grant. The Grantee is required to finance its operations with its own working capital.  Grant payments will be made to reimburse the Grantee for actual expenditures made supported by adequate documentation.
