Employment Strategy Session held with new Bexar County Military and Veterans Service Center Director

A new Bexar County Military and Veterans Service Center Director is scheduled to come onboard in September 2022. LTC Keith Wilson is slated for the directorship upon his retirement from U.S. Army Soldier for Life, Regional Director for South U.S., Northeast U.S. and Europe. In preparation for his new role, a veteran employment strategy session introduced Wilson to area employment partners at the federal, state and city levels; as well as private enterprise and nonprofits serving veterans.

American Legion Employment Awards honor Texas Veterans Commission’s Katie Baillio & Christopher Garza

Veterans Employer Liaison (VEL) Christopher Garza and Rural Veteran Career Advisor (RVCA) Katie Baillio were awarded by the American Legion, Department of Texas for their outstanding effectiveness in getting veterans into jobs.
